Argus digital Camera is a little known camera in the digital still camera
market
The Argus digital camera line has many models to choose from and at an entry
level price point. Argus has been making cameras since 1936 and today Argus is
also available in the digital still market.
Digital cameras are not forgotten by Argus as they also make 35 mm cameras
as well as a mini DV camcorder.
The Argus DC 4370 has a 1.8 inch LCD screen, 3 times optical zoom lens, 4
mega pixels, movie mode and includes a rechargeable lithium ion battery. The
Argus DC 4370 also has 16 MB of internal memory and an SD storage card slot.
At the end of Feb. 2005, Argus announced the Argus QuickClix 5370. This Argus
has 5 mega pixels, 3 times optical zoom, 1.8 inch LCD screen and includes 30 fps
movie mode. The Argus QuickClix 5370 also includes the lithium ion rechargeable
battery and charger. The video transfer cable and its’
electronics is compatible
with both NTSC and PAL systems.
The low cost Argus DC 3180 has 3.2 mega pixels, 1.5 inch LCD screen, movie
mode and although it does not have an optical zoom does include a 4 times
digital zoom. The Argus DC 3180 is powered by two AAA batteries.
The Argus DC 2180 has all the features of the DC 3180 with the exception of
the mega pixels. The Argus DC 2180 includes 2.0 mega pixels and like the DC 3180
is classified as an ultra slim compact. There you have some Argus models which
are very inexpensive for the value in the camera.
