LCD Televisions are as flat as it gets
The latest LCD televisions are changing the world of
electronics. LCD stands for Liquid
Crystal Diode. When you think of flat, many point to the flat panel LCD TV.
Considering how long we have endured the boxy-shaped CRT televisions, it is
about time we had this new TV set.
Larger ones are also available
LCD TVs are available in a few variations. The first is the conventional LCD
panel, but isn’t only used in televisions. LCDs
are used in many other electronic technologies like microwaves, digital clocks,
calculators, and stereos. In the television, the LCD comes in the design called
Twisted Nematic (TM). It is a naturally twisted crystalline structure that
reacts to electric currents in predictable manners. The currents cause it to
untwist to different degrees based on the voltage given. These TN crystals are
stuck between panes of polarized glass and the untwisting allows different
amounts of light to pass through.
LCD technology can be found on standard LCD TVs, LCD projectors and the LCD rear
projection TV. It all depends on your needs. If you choose the standard flat LCD
monitor, you can display it a number of ways;
• Flat Wall Mounts
• Tilt and extendable Articulating Wall Mounts
• Table stand with included pedestal
• From the Ceiling
