Nikon digital cameras are very diverse in styles, lenses and electronics

This year Nikon added the built-in red eye reduction mode to all its Coolpix
line including the Coolpix 4600 and 5600 models. This makes photography easier
for the amateur and professional alike. The 5900 and 7900 models also include
the Nikon ED lens and the D-lighting feature adds light and detail to dark areas
while leaving bright areas as they are.
The Nikon Coolpix 4800’s claim to fame is the 8.3 times optical zoom-Nikkor
ED lens, movie mode with sound, and Li-ion rechargeable battery.
Quickly, the last two to mention are the Nikon Coolpix 8800 and the Nikon
D-70s digital SLR. With 8 mega pixels, the Coolpix 8800 offers a 10 time optical
zoom-Nikkor ED lens, movie mode with sound and vibration reduction technology,
while the Nikon D-70s has 6.1 effective mega pixels with a high 1/8000 of a
second shutter speed. The D-70s not only offers all the features of the D-70 but
has a 2 inch LCD screen and has enhanced the number of shots from the Li-ion
battery to 2500.
