The Plasma TV Mount Allows for Simple Displays
The plasma TV mount industry has grown in recent years. As the plasma TV has
become one of the most sought after televisions, consumers have demanded
accessories to display them. Some like the clean plasma wall bracket design,
while others would rather have their TV on a floor stand.
There Is a Mount for Every Need
Manufacturers of plasma mounts have designed many different styles to
accommodate consumers’ individual taste. Before buying a plasma mount, ensure
the design can support the weight. Having your plasma fall isn’t desirable.

- Low Profile Plasma TV Mount
- Low Profile Plasma Wall Mount - a common mounting option for Plasma TVs for
home or business use. This can be the least expensive option and allows the
plasma to be only a few inches from the wall. If you plan on using this style,
make sure you build a conduit or have someone fish the correct wires through the
wall first.
- Swing Out Arm Plasma TV Wall Mount - has a swivel arm which folds up when not
in use. The plasma will appear to be flush mounted like the standard wall mount.
It can add a few extra inches to the depth depending on the manufacturer. These
are great if your seating isn’t facing the television. These mounts allow for
120° degree turning in either side to side direction or 0°- 10° degrees top to
bottom tilt direction.
- Pivot Wall Plasma TV Mount with Pitch Adjustment - used when placing the
plasma television is higher than eye level. The user can pull the plasma monitor
up to 15° degrees from the wall and tilt the unit from between 15° to 20°
degrees - depending on the manufacturer. This is popular above fireplaces or in

depending on the manufacturer. Standard lengths are 24 to 43".
